Hey blogging friends! It’s been two weeks since my last post and things around here have been very busy. The holiday crunch is real! Between the craziness at work, packing, errands, gift shopping, and then traveling to upstate New York for the holidays, it’s been a real whirlwind.
My last days in SF were spent soaking up time with Joe before we leave each other for 4 weeks for the holidays. It’s our third year spending the holidays apart with our respective families, and I definitely will miss him the most this year!
Our last weekend in SF was a rainy one but very memorable. We drove to our favorite beachside cafe in the Sunset and went to Ocean Beach to enjoy the big waves on the cozy, rainy day. I remember sitting in the car, sipping our coffee and listening to Christmas music – I felt so grateful to have this moment with Joe and making Christmas our own this year. ❤

The days that followed were a blur to be honest. I honestly don’t l remember much from my travel from SF to NY because I was so head-down in work on the plane to NYC and the car ride to my hometown (a 12 hour trek total). But I got through the week and yesterday was the first day in a long time I felt like I could finally relax.
Being in my childhood home is always a joy and I’m truly looking forward to the next 2 weeks. My whole family is here plus my dog-nephew (there will probably be a lot of pictures with him 🙂 ). It’s a big blessing that every year we all make the effort to be together and spend quality time.

I hope you all have a beautiful Christmas (or whatever you celebrate) and stay safe my friends!!
