Happy holidays!! I’m currently blogging from my hometown Poughkeepsie, NY, where I’m spending three weeks with my family for the holidays. My time here has included lots of relaxing, quality time with the family, bonding with my dog-nephew, and several family holiday traditions.
The week leading up to Christmas, we decorated the Christmas tree while listening to Christmas music – a tradition we’ve done as a family since we were kids.

The dog advent calendar from Costco = 10/10. This kept Constantine very entertained.

We get a lot of chocolate every year for Christmas. My whole family is full of chocoholics so we split them evenly. π

Christmas day was full of joy. We opened presents together as a family in the morning and there were some really great ones this year. My sister is into needle-felting and she made the cutest little sculpture of Ben!

Picture for reference. π

We got my dad a personalized chef’s apron and hat because he recently learned how to cook during the pandemic.

For Christmas dinner, we had hot pot – another holiday tradition. We are all huge fans of hot pot and it’s a fun way for everyone to be involved in the meal.

Someone got into the holiday spirit. π I think Constantine got the most presents out of all of us.

I got the booster shot! This one took me out harder than the other two. I’m glad I was in my cozy home during recovery.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday with loved ones, from my family to yours!!

Bonus picture – we had a little too much fun during our family photoshoot. π

Merry Christmas! π looks like you had a great family time
