6 months ago I met my partner Joe on a blind date…we fell in love quickly and have been crazy about each other ever since. It was our half-year anniversary yesterday and we celebrated social distancing style! We packed some snacks and beer in the cooler and went on our favorite walk in the Presidio, ending with a picnic on Baker Beach. The date had all out favorites: bonding over something active + beautiful scenery + letting loose over some white claws 🙂

These past 6 months have been filled with so many wonderful memories: laughs, travels, learning about each other, supporting each other through our goals, and even some difficult conversations about our relationship and our future (we are not perfect!). I beyond grateful to have Joe in my life – he is everything I am looking for, and more. He has really changed my life and the way I think about love, relationships, the world, and myself. I can’t wait for many more anniversaries to come!

Other than that, our week was filled with the usual. Plenty of walks/hikes/runs whenever the sun came out to break up the day and keep us sane. It’s week 6 of shelther-in-place in SF, and I am really getting the strong urge to get out of this routine!

I’ve been practicing a lot on my new roller blades. They are such a joy and fun addition to our usual strolls in Golden Gate Park. Every time I feel like I’m progressing exponentially and I’m addicted to learning new techniques online and then trying them myself. 🙂

Lots of video calls of course. Of course I prefer face-to-face chats, but I’ll take anything I can get right now. It was so nice to have our big girl group reunion ❤

Hope you had a restful week and are finding fun ways to stay sane! 🙂
Wear masks please or else I’ll send a bunch of articles about the effects of coronavirus 😉 and happy anniversary
