It’s good to be back
The highlight of my holidays was surprising my parents at their front door (they thought I was in SF), which left my pa totally floored and my ma in tears. These last 6 weeks were the longest time I’ve with my family since high school. I did two 1500-piece puzzles with ma, heard hours of childhood stories from pa, tasted bougie beer/whisky with bro, and learned 80s japanese pop songs with sissy. I also cut everyone’s hair, learned mahjong, and baked like a mad woman. I have to say, I had a really lovely time.
