Hey pals! I’m coming out of a packed weekend filled with activities. I got the chance to see all my closest friends in SF, which was a huge blessing especially as the end of the year comes and we’ll all be traveling soon. I cannot believe the holidays are around the corner – I’m so excited to lean into the holiday spirit (I may have already watched a Christmas movie) and see my family soon!
The highlight of the weekend was Friendsgiving dinner on Friday. Our entire crew came out for a pre-fixe dinner at an Italian spot called Ragazza. The food was wonderful, and it was great to have everyone together for the first time in a while.

My favorite dish was the tiramisu – dessert is always my favorite course. π

After dinner, we headed to The Page for drinks. It has been ages since I’ve had a night out at a bar, and it felt like the whole city was here. The bar was super upbeat and the perfect place to continue the good vibes.

Another highlight of the weekend was seeing Carmina, one of my closest friends in the city who I met in our previous job. She came out to my ‘hood this time, and we did our classic brunch date in the Inner Sunset. We hadn’t seen each other in a few months, and we had so much to catch up on! Hanging out with Carmina is always an instant mood-booster for me. β€

On Sunday, I felt rested from all the partying/socializing earlier in the weekend. It was raining all week in SF, and the sun finally came out! Joe and I decided to drive up to Marin (north of San Francisco) and do our favorite hike: the Tennessee Valley Beach trail. It’s a 4-mile out-and-back and we’ve done it several times over the years. The prize is the beautiful beach area surrounded by rugged cliffs. It’s such a gem in the Bay Area.

Afterward, we went to Super Duper for lunch. I’m pretty sure we’ve done this exact itinerary over 10 times. We also did this on our third date 4 years ago; it never gets old.

Besides that, my weekend was filled with lounging around the apartment with the cats. The cats have been super attached to us over the last few weeks – I think the cold weather is making them want to snuggle. π Iβm not complaining.

Have a fabulous week, my friends!
